ContACT utilises IBM xSeries for its critical hosting services. Both Windows Server 2003 and Linux operating systems are avaliable. Active scripting is supported on our servers such as ASP.NET, ASP and PHP. Both SQL Server and MySQL is available on our Servers.

ContACT manages its own production servers and production servers of a number of other clients. ContACT's production servers consist of IBM xSeries 345 & 346 with Quad Intel Xeon 3.06GHz or 3.20GHz processors running Windows Server 2003 plus xSeries 305 with a Intel Xeon 3.06GHz processor running a linux operating system.

The IBM xSeries 345 & 346 2U, 2-way server delivers rack-dense computing power that provides improved performance, high availability and scalability. The x345's and x346's are packed with Intel Xeon processors supporting 533Mhz FSB, DDR memory, Dual Ultra320 SCSI controllers, support of Ultra320 HDDs, Integrated Dual Gigabit Ethernet and five PCI slots. The x345 & x346 are feature-rich application serving platforms for space constrained data centers and application service providers.

The x345 & X346 includes a full array of systems management features - Light Path Diagnostics, Predictive Failure Analysis, IBM Director and the Integrated Systems Management Processor - that work together to provide you with proactive and predictive capabilities to help increase system reliability. The optional Remote Supervisor Adapter is designed to allow full control of the server, even when it's offline.
